Park vs. Plymouth-Wayzata

Playing their last league game of the year, Park spanked Wayzata 11-1 in five innings.

Derrick Keller pitched all five innings, allowing one run, on a solo homer in the first, and only four total hits; he walked one and struck out eight.

Park scored one in the first when Nick Omodt singled, stole second, advanced to third, and scored on a wild pitch.

In the second we added four when Ryne McNary walked, Jack Bordewick singled, Jimmy Heck scored both runners with a double, Tre Munson walked, Omodt singled in Heck, and Munson scored on a wild pitch.

In the third, John Gallice opened with a single, McNary and Bordewick walked, Heck was drilled in the kidney with a pitch, Munson doubled in Gallice and McNary, Omodt singled in Bordewick, and Foltz singled in Heck and Munson.

In the bottom of the fifth, up 10-1, Park won by the 10-run rule when Foltz walked, Keller singled him to third, and Dylan Vosika singled in Foltz.

Park ended league play with a 7-7 record and a +10 run differential (89-79).

Defensively, Park was as good as could be, with IntVeld fielding a hot smash behind the third base bag and throwing to first where Bordewick scooped a low throw to get the out, and Gallice, Omodt and Munson shining in the outfield.
